One of the most profound culinary experiences in Central New York. Been here many times and never disappointed. The service and atmosphere are always reliable however the food is the highlight. Authentic Szechuan dishes abound, with so many unique and hard to find ingredients. The pea shoots are astounding, I get them every time. Salt, oil and garlic. That’s it, yet perfection. The mung bean jelly noodle appetizer and stir fried pork kidneys were wonderful as well, perfectly spicy without overwhelming the core ingredients. Dozens more dishes on the menu u worth trying as well. Very highly recommend.

I was visiting Syracuse for work and I typically seek out authentic Szechuan places when visiting new cities, so when scoping out my options here I found a few places that seemed to be legit. I did find a person who visited this one and another one, Jianghu Café and so I asked her if I could only visit one, which do I do, and she said Jianhghu was the winner winner Szechuan lunch. I did go there and it was great! But I found myself having one additional dinner time without plans, so I came here as well. Walking in, I noticed what appeared to be a common Asian Massage Parlor next door, yo uget to it via the entry way that bring you here as well. Kinda odd, but it didn’t bother me. Walking into this restaurant, it’s very nicely laid out and beautifully décor’d! The servers and staff spoke great English and were very helpful, especially when answering questions about their menu. I started with their Garlic Cucumbers, but I asked for them to be spicy and Wow, they did a GREAT job with them! They weren’t very hot, but so much spiciness and flavor – I loved them! Red Chili in Syracuse is an absolute gem and one of the best places for authentic Chinese food in the area. From the outside, you might not expect much, but don’t let that fool you. The restaurant has expanded, and the interior now looks fantastic. The atmosphere is warm, modern, and very inviting. Every dish we ordered was delicious. We had the veggie dumplings, Chengdu-style mung beans, smoked duck, lamb, and Mapo tofu. Everything was packed with flavor, but the smoked duck was the standout dish of the night. It was perfectly cooked, smoky, and incredibly flavorful. The lamb was tender, the Mapo tofu had just the right amount of spice, and even the vegetable dishes were outstanding. The service was friendly, and the overall dining experience exceeded our expectations. If you’re in Syracuse and looking for authentic, flavorful Chinese cuisine, Red Chili is definitely worth a visit. We’ll certainly be coming back.

I love this place. They have the best food that come out really fast. The prices are really good. The employees are so kind. They even have their own sauce bar you can use at anytime for no extra charge.

This restaurant is really beautiful, with fake vines on the walls and lantern-style lights, but it is not style over substance here. The food is fantastic, every dish was super aromatic and had the right málà flavor that I love from Sichuan food. The portions are also huge for the price - 1 dish and 1 appetizer could easily feed 2 people
